A rare English Lantern Clock signed by Edward Norris at ye "Crossed Keys" in Bethlem, Fecit.
End of the third quarter, 17th Century.
Being currently offered in unrestored condition.
Originally with balance wheel control, anciently converted to anchor escapement and pendulum, possibly by the maker. Edward Norris apprenticed to William Selwood in 1650 at the famous clockmaking house The Mermaid in Lothbury
